Let's Get Started

  1. Blend the turmeric, garlic, shallots, and shrimp paste together in a food processor until it forms a paste.
  2. In a pot, add the paste and water. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add the shrimp and vegetables to the pot. Let it simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Add the tamarind paste, fish sauce, and palm sugar. Stir well and let it simmer for another 10 minutes.
  5. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed. Serve hot with rice.
