Frog Legs
Frog legs sautéed with garlic, parsley and a hint of white wine. A French classic that's perfect as an appetizer or main course.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- White wine - 1/4 cup
- Parsley - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Garlic - 5 cloves, minced
- Butter - 1/2 cup
- All-purpose flour - 1/2 cup
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Frog legs - 12 pairs
Let's Get Started
- Season the frog legs with salt and pepper, then dredge in flour.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the frog legs and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side.
- Remove the frog legs from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the parsley and white wine, then return the frog legs to the skillet.
- Cook for an additional 5 minutes, until the frog legs are cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
- Serve the frog legs hot, with the sauce poured over top.
