Fried Pickle Burger
A juicy burger topped with crispy fried pickles and tangy burger sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Burger sauce - To taste
- Oil - For frying
- Breadcrumbs - 1 cup
- Eggs - 2
- Flour - 1 cup
- Pickles - 1 jar, sliced
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Lettuce - 4 leaves
- Hamburger buns - 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Ground beef - 1 pound
Let's Get Started
- Season the ground beef with salt and pepper and form into 4 patties.
- Cook the patties on a grill or in a skillet to your desired level of doneness.
- While the burgers are cooking, prepare the fried pickles. Dredge the pickle slices in flour, then dip in the beaten eggs, and coat in breadcrumbs.
- Heat the oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F. Fry the pickles until golden brown, about 2 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
- To assemble the burgers, spread burger sauce on the bottom bun, then add the lettuce, tomato, burger patty, and fried pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
