Let's Get Started

  1. Peel the plantains and cut them in half. Flatten each half with a kitchen mallet.
  2. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the plantains until they are golden and crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. Season the steak with salt, pepper and the minced garlic. Fry in the same oil until it is cooked to your liking.
  4. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each plantain. Place the steak, cheese, lettuce and tomato on top, then cover with the other plantain half.
  5. Serve immediately.
