Chorrillana
Chorrillana is a popular Chilean dish consisting of a bed of french fries, topped with different types of sliced meat, sausages and eggs.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Eggs - 4
- Sausages - 2, sliced
- Onions - 2 large, thinly sliced
- Beef - 500 grams, thinly sliced
- Oil - For frying
- Potatoes - 4 large, cut into fries
Let's Get Started
- Heat the oil in a large frying pan or deep fryer and fry the potatoes until golden and crispy.
- In another pan, fry the beef and sausages until they are well cooked.
- In the same pan, add the sliced onions and cook until they are caramelized.
- In a separate pan, fry the eggs to your liking.
- To assemble the dish, place the fries at the bottom of a plate, then add the meat, sausages and onions on top. Finally, top with the fried eggs.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve hot.
