Flat Steak
This delicious flat iron steak is seasoned with a flavorful rub and served with a vibrant chimichurri sauce.

- Black pepper (for chimichurri sauce) - 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt (for chimichurri sauce) - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil (for chimichurri sauce) - 1/4 cup
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Red wine vinegar - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Fresh cilantro - 1/2 cup, chopped
- Fresh parsley - 1/2 cup, chopped
- Red pepper flakes - 1/4 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Flat iron steak - 1.5 pounds
Let's Get Started
- Preheat grill or grill pan to high heat.
- In a small bowl, combine salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, cumin, and red pepper flakes to make the steak rub.
- Rub the steak with olive oil, then sprinkle the steak rub evenly on both sides of the steak.
