Fish Gravy
This flavorful fish gravy is made with a blend of spices and fresh fish fillets.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Fresh coriander leaves - For garnish
- Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - To taste
- Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
- Tomato - 2 medium, chopped
- Onion - 1 large, finely chopped
- Fish fillets - 500 grams
Let's Get Started
- Heat oil in a pan and add the chopped onions. Sauté until golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
- Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft.
- Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Add fish fillets and gently coat them with the spice mixture.
- Cover the pan and cook for about 10 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through.
- Sprinkle garam masala and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with steamed rice or roti.
