Fish Ball Soup
A light and refreshing soup made with homemade fish balls, vegetables, and a clear broth.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Bok choy - 2 cups, chopped
- Carrots - 2, sliced
- Ginger - 1 inch piece, sliced
- Water - 6 cups
- Cornstarch - 2 tablespoons
- White pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- White fish fillets - 500 grams
Let's Get Started
- Place the fish fillets in a food processor with the salt, white pepper, and cornstarch. Process until smooth.
- Shape the fish mixture into small balls and set aside.
- In a large pot, bring the water to a boil. Add the ginger and carrots and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add the fish balls to the pot and cook until they float to the surface, about 5 minutes.
- Add the bok choy and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Serve the soup hot, garnished with the chopped green onions.
