Fig and Balsamic Glazed Salmon
This delicious salmon dish is glazed with a sweet and tangy fig and balsamic sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Dijon mustard - 1 tablespoon
- Honey - 2 tablespoons
- Balsamic vinegar - 1/4 cup
- Fresh figs - 4, sliced
- Salmon fillets - 2
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
- In a small saucepan, combine the balsamic vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic. Cook over medium heat until the mixture thickens, about 5 minutes.
- Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the fig and balsamic glaze over the salmon fillets, reserving some for serving.
