Falafel Burger
A delicious and healthy alternative to traditional burgers, these falafel burgers are made with chickpeas, herbs, and spices.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles - For serving
- Burger buns - 4
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Bread crumbs - 1/2 cup
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Parsley - 1/2 cup, chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Chickpeas - 1 can, drained and rinsed
Let's Get Started
- In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper. Process until smooth.
- Transfer the mixture to a bowl and stir in the bread crumbs. Form into 4 patties.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the patties and cook for 5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
- Serve the falafel burgers on the buns with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles.
