Mushroom and Chicken Burger
This delicious mushroom and chicken burger is packed with flavor and perfect for a hearty meal.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Ketchup - 4 tablespoons
- Mayonnaise - 4 tablespoons
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Lettuce - 4 leaves
- Burger buns - 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Egg - 1
- Breadcrumbs - 1/2 cup
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1/2 cup, finely chopped
- Mushrooms - 8 ounces, finely chopped
- Ground chicken - 1 pound
Let's Get Started
- In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, mushrooms, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties.
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
- Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
- Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun, then top with a lettuce leaf and a slice of tomato.
