Escargot with Garlic Butter
A classic French appetizer made with snails, garlic, and butter.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- French bread - 1 loaf
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Unsalted butter - 1/2 cup, softened
- Canned escargot - 1 can (7.75 oz)
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Drain the escargot and rinse under cold water.
- In a bowl, mix together the butter, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Place one escargot in each hole of an escargot dish.
- Fill each hole with the garlic butter mixture.
- Bake for 10 minutes, or until the butter is melted and bubbly.
- Serve hot with slices of French bread.
