Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. In a bowl, combine vinegar, soy sauce, minced garlic, sliced ginger, bay leaves, black peppercorns, and salt. Mix well to make the marinade.
  2. Place the fish fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure the fish is fully coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat cooking oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the marinated fish fillets until golden brown and crispy. Set aside.
  4. In the same pan, sauté the sliced onion, julienned carrots, and sliced bell peppers until slightly softened.
  5. Pour the remaining marinade into the pan and bring to a simmer. Cook for a few minutes to reduce the sauce slightly.
  6. Place the fried fish fillets on a serving platter and pour the sauce with vegetables over them.
  7. Garnish with additional sliced bell peppers and serve hot with steamed rice.
