Pasta Alla Genovese
Pasta alla Genovese is a traditional Italian dish from Genoa. The sauce is made from onions, beef, and white wine, served over pasta.

- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 cup, grated
- Pasta - 1 pound
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- White wine - 1 cup
- Beef stew meat - 1 pound
- Onions - 2 large, thinly sliced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons

- Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the onions and cook until they are soft and golden, about 10 minutes.
- Add the beef to the pot and cook until it is browned on all sides.
- Add the wine to the pot and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 2 hours, until the beef is tender and the sauce has thickened.

- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and return to the pot.
- Pour the sauce over the pasta and toss to combine.
- Serve the pasta with a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese on top.
