Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Heat ghee in a pan and fry the bread slices until golden brown.
  2. In another pan, boil the milk and add sugar, cardamom powder and saffron strands.
  3. Once the sugar is dissolved, add the fried bread slices to the milk and let it simmer for a few minutes.
  4. In the meantime, fry the dry fruits in a little ghee and add them to the milk and bread mixture.
  5. Let it cook for a few more minutes until the milk is reduced and the bread slices have absorbed the milk.
  6. Serve the Double Ka Meetha hot, garnished with some more fried dry fruits.
