Dim Sim
Dim Sum is a traditional Chinese dish often served with tea. It is a steamed dumpling filled with a mixture of shrimp and pork.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Wonton wrappers - 24
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, minced
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Green onions - 2, finely chopped
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Ground pork - 1 cup
- Shrimp - 1 cup, peeled and deveined
Let's Get Started
- In a food processor, combine the shrimp, pork, soy sauce, sesame oil, green onions, garlic, and ginger. Pulse until well combined.
- Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
- Fold the wrapper over the filling and pinch the edges to seal.
- Place the dumplings in a steamer basket and steam for 15 minutes, or until the filling is cooked through.
