Diki Diki
Diki-Diki is a traditional Filipino dish made with sautéed pork liver and onions.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Cooking oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Vinegar - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Onions - 2 medium, thinly sliced
- Pork liver - 500 grams, sliced
Let's Get Started
- Heat the cooking oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the onions and garlic and sauté until fragrant and translucent.
- Add the sliced pork liver and cook until browned on all sides.
- Pour in the soy sauce and vinegar. Stir well to coat the liver.
- Add the sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir again to combine.
- Cover the pan and let it simmer for about 10 minutes, or until the liver is cooked through.
- Serve hot with steamed rice.
