- Salt and pepper - To taste
- White wine - 1/2 cup
- Butter - 50 grams
- Sage leaves - 2
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1, finely chopped
- Chicken livers - 500 grams
Let's Get Started
- Clean the chicken livers and pat them dry.
- In a pan, melt the butter and add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and sage leaves. Cook until the onion is translucent.
- Add the chicken livers to the pan and cook until they are browned on all sides.
- Pour the white wine into the pan and let it evaporate.
- Remove the sage leaves and transfer the mixture to a food processor. Blend until smooth.
- Season the pate with salt and pepper.
- Spread the pate on the toasted bread slices and serve.
