  1. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  3. Add the chopped onion, bell pepper, and diced ham to the pan. Cook until the vegetables are softened.
  4. Pour the egg mixture into the pan and cook until the edges start to set.
  5. Using a spatula, gently fold the edges of the omelette towards the center to create a square shape.
  6. Continue cooking until the omelette is fully set and lightly browned on both sides.
  7. In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, ketchup, and sugar to make the sauce.
  8. Toast the bread slices until golden brown.
  9. Spread the sauce on one side of each bread slice.
  10. Place the omelette on one slice of bread and cover with another slice to make a sandwich.
  11. Cut the sandwich diagonally and serve hot.
