Creamy Shrimp Linguine

Ingredients - Serves 4
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 cup, grated
- Heavy cream - 1 cup
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Shrimp - 1 pound, peeled and deveined
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Linguine - 8 ounces
Let's Get Started
- Cook the linguine according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 5 minutes. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Add the cooked linguine and shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until heated through.
- Serve the creamy shrimp linguine garnished with the chopped parsley.
