  1. Cook the linguine according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 5 minutes. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
