Creamy Polenta

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. In a large pot, bring the water to a boil. Add the salt.
  2. Slowly whisk in the polenta or cornmeal, making sure there are no lumps.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and continue to whisk the polenta until it starts to thicken, about 5 minutes.
  4. Cover the pot and let the polenta cook for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pot.
  5. Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the butter and Parmesan cheese until well combined.
  6. Serve the polenta warm, topped with extra butter and cheese if desired.
