Crab Rangoon
Crab Rangoon is a popular appetizer in Chinese cuisine. These crispy wonton pockets are filled with a creamy mixture of crab meat, cream cheese, and seasonings.

- Vegetable oil - For frying
- Wonton wrappers - 24
- Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Green onions - 2, finely chopped
- Cream cheese - 4 ounces, softened
- Crab meat - 1 cup, cooked and shredded

- In a mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, cream cheese, green onions, soy sauce, and garlic powder. Mix well.
- Place a spoonful of the crab mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
- Moisten the edges of the wonton wrapper with water, then fold it in half diagonally to form a triangle. Press the edges to seal.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or pot over medium heat.
- Carefully place the crab rangoons in the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove the crab rangoons from the oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
- Serve hot with sweet and sour sauce or soy sauce for dipping.
