Let's Get Started

  1. Cut the ribs into individual pieces.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, five spice powder, and vinegar to make the marinade.
  3. Add the ribs to the marinade and let them marinate for at least 2 hours, or overnight in the fridge.
  4. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  5. Place the ribs on a baking tray and reserve the marinade.
  6. Bake the ribs for about 1 hour, or until they are cooked through and caramelized.
  7. While the ribs are baking, pour the reserved marinade into a saucepan.
  8. Mix the cornstarch with a little water to make a slurry, then add it to the saucepan.
  9. Cook the marinade over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens into a sauce.
  10. Once the ribs are done, brush them with the sauce and serve.
