Corned Beef Sandwich
A hearty sandwich made with tender corned beef, Swiss cheese, and tangy sauerkraut on rye bread.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Thousand island dressing - 2 tablespoons
- Sauerkraut - 1/2 cup, drained
- Swiss cheese - 4 slices
- Corned beef - 8 ounces, thinly sliced
- Rye bread - 4 slices
Let's Get Started
- Spread one side of each slice of bread with Thousand Island dressing.
- On two of the slices, layer half of the cheese, all of the corned beef, the sauerkraut, and the remaining cheese. Top with the remaining slices of bread, dressing-side down.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the sandwiches and cook until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted, about 5 minutes per side.
