Coffee Milk Panna Cotta
This Coffee Milk Panna Cotta is a smooth, creamy dessert with deep coffee flavor.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Heavy cream - 1 cup
- Unflavored gelatin - 2 1/4 teaspoons
- Instant coffee granules - 2 tablespoons
- Granulated sugar - 1/2 cup
- Whole milk - 2 cups
Let's Get Started
- In a medium saucepan, combine the milk, sugar, and coffee. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar and coffee are dissolved.
- Sprinkle the gelatin over the milk mixture and let stand for 5 minutes to soften the gelatin.
- Return the saucepan to low heat and stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved, about 2-3 minutes. Do not let the mixture boil.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the heavy cream and vanilla extract.
- Pour the mixture into four dessert glasses or ramekins. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the panna cotta is set and chilled.
- Serve the panna cotta chilled, with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cocoa powder on top, if desired.
