  1. Clean the chicken and cut it into large pieces.
  2. Rinse the Chinese yam, goji berries, red dates, and dried longan under cold water.
  3. Place the chicken, Chinese yam, goji berries, red dates, dried longan, and ginger in a large pot.
  4. Add the water and bring to a boil over high heat.

  6. Season with salt to taste.
