Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced onion, minced garlic, and diced jalapeno. Cook until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the salsa and black beans to the skillet. Stir to combine.
  4. Add the tortilla chips to the skillet and toss to coat them in the salsa mixture. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the chips are slightly softened.
  5. Remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle with crumbled queso fresco and chopped cilantro.
  6. Serve the chilaquiles with sliced avocado and lime wedges on the side.
