Let's Get Started

  1. In a large pot, add the chicken, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, bay leaves, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  2. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  3. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 45 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  4. Remove the chicken from the pot and shred the meat using two forks.
  5. Return the shredded chicken to the pot.
  6. Add the egg noodles and cook for an additional 10 minutes, or until the noodles are tender.
