Chicken Paprikash

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Season the chicken thighs with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chicken and cook until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
  6. Gradually stir in the chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet and bring to a simmer. Cover and cook for 30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  8. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  9. Stir the sour cream into the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until heated through.
  10. Serve the chicken and sauce over cooked egg noodles.
