Classic Chicken Noodle Soup
A comforting and delicious homemade classic chicken noodle soup loaded with chicken, carrots, celery and egg noodles.
Ingredients - Serves 6
- Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Egg noodles - 2 cups
- Chicken - 2 cups, cooked and shredded
- Chicken broth - 8 cups
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Celery - 2 stalks, sliced
- Carrots - 3, peeled and sliced
- Onions - 1 large, chopped
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
Let's Get Started
- Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the onions, carrots, celery, and garlic and cook until the vegetables are soft, about 10 minutes.
- Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Add the chicken and noodles and cook until the noodles are tender, about 10 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Stir in the chopped parsley before serving.
