Chicken Do Pyaza

Ingredients - Serves 4
- Fresh coriander leaves - For garnishing
- Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - To taste
- Garam masala powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 2 teaspoons
- Red chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Green chillies - 2, slit
- Ginger-garlic paste - 2 tablespoons
- Tomatoes - 2 large, finely chopped
- Onions - 4 large, finely chopped
- Chicken - 500 grams
Let's Get Started
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
- Add chopped onions and green chillies. Sauté until onions turn golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a few minutes until the raw smell goes away.
- Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they are soft.
- Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Add chicken pieces to the pan and mix well. Cook until the chicken is half done.
- Add garam masala powder and mix well. Cover the pan and cook until the chicken is fully done.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
