Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Soak the pho noodles in warm water for 30 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pot, sauté the onion, garlic, and ginger until fragrant.
  3. Add the star anise, cinnamon stick, fish sauce, sugar, and salt. Pour in 1.5 liters of water and bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
  5. Strain the broth and return it to the pot. Add the seafood and cook until done.
  6. Divide the noodles among four bowls. Ladle the broth and seafood over the noodles.
  7. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve with lime wedges on the side.
