Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo
A delicious and creamy pasta dish with tender chicken, fresh broccoli, and a rich Alfredo sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish)
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Parmesan cheese - 1 cup, grated
- Heavy cream - 1 cup
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Pasta - 8 ounces, fettuccine or any pasta of your choice
- Broccoli - 2 cups, florets
- Chicken breast - 2, boneless and skinless, cut into bite-sized pieces
Let's Get Started
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the chicken pieces and cook until they are no longer pink in the center, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the broccoli florets and cook for 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it melts and the sauce is smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked chicken and cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss everything together until well coated with the Alfredo sauce.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
