Chicken Alfredo with Pasta
A delicious and creamy chicken alfredo dish served with pasta.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Parmesan cheese - 1 cup, grated
- Heavy cream - 1 cup
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Pasta - 8 ounces
- Chicken breast - 2, boneless and skinless
Let's Get Started
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the chicken breasts and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Slice the cooked chicken breasts into strips and add them back to the skillet.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat everything in the creamy sauce.
- Season with additional salt and pepper if needed.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
