Ingredients - Serves 4
- Green chilies - 3, slit
- Curry leaves - A handful
- Vegetable oil - For deep frying
- Egg - 1
- Corn flour - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - To taste
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1 tablespoon
- Chicken - 500 grams, boneless
Let's Get Started
- Clean and cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, mix the chicken with red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, ginger-garlic paste, and lemon juice. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Add the corn flour and egg to the marinated chicken and mix well.
- Heat oil in a pan for deep frying. Once the oil is hot, add the chicken pieces one by one and fry until golden brown.
- Remove the chicken pieces and drain on a paper towel.
- In the same oil, fry the curry leaves and green chilies for a minute.
- Add the fried chicken to the pan and toss well.
- Serve hot with lemon wedges.
