Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Marinate the fish fillets with turmeric powder, lemon juice, and salt. Set aside for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat coconut oil in a pan and shallow fry the fish fillets until they turn golden. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add the sliced onions, green chilies, ginger, and garlic. Saute until the onions turn soft.
  4. Add the thin coconut milk and some salt. Bring it to a boil.
  5. Add the fried fish fillets and curry leaves. Cover and cook on a low flame for about 10 minutes.
  6. Add the thick coconut milk and gently stir. Cook for another 5 minutes on a low flame.
  7. Turn off the flame and let the curry rest for a while before serving. This allows the flavors to meld together.
