  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt.
  2. Gradually add water to the flour mixture, kneading the dough until it is smooth and pliable.
  3. Cover the dough and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  4. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each portion into a thin circle.
  5. Heat a pan over medium heat and place a rolled chapati on it. Cook until small bubbles appear on the surface.
  6. Flip the chapati and cook the other side until it has brown spots.
  7. Remove the chapati from the pan and brush it with a little oil.
  8. Repeat with the remaining dough portions. Serve the chapatis warm.
