Ingredients - Serves 4
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - To taste
- Red chili powder - 1/4 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon
- Sev (crispy chickpea flour noodles) - 1/4 cup
- Yogurt - 1/2 cup
- Mint chutney - 2 tablespoons
- Tamarind chutney - 2 tablespoons
- Coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Green chili - 1, finely chopped
- Tomato - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Chickpeas - 1 cup, cooked
- Potatoes - 2 medium, boiled and diced
Let's Get Started
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the boiled and diced potatoes, cooked chickpeas, finely chopped onion, tomato, green chili, and coriander leaves.
- Add chaat masala, cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well to coat the ingredients with the spices.
- Drizzle tamarind chutney and mint chutney over the mixture. Toss gently to combine.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the yogurt until smooth.
- To serve, divide the chaat mixture into serving plates or bowls.
- Drizzle yogurt over the chaat mixture.
- Sprinkle sev (crispy chickpea flour noodles) on top.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the chaat.
- Garnish with additional coriander leaves, if desired.
