Chaap Tikka
Chaap Tikka is a popular North Indian dish made with soya chaap sticks marinated in a flavorful mixture and grilled to perfection.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Oil - For grilling
- Salt - To taste
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
- Ginger garlic paste - 2 tablespoons
- Yogurt - 1 cup
- Soya chaap - 8 sticks
Let's Get Started
- Clean the soya chaap sticks and keep them aside.
- In a bowl, mix together yogurt, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, lemon juice and salt.
- Add the soya chaap sticks to the marinade and mix well. Let it marinate for at least an hour.
- Heat oil in a grill pan or tandoor. Once the oil is hot, place the marinated soya chaap sticks on it.
- Grill the soya chaap sticks from all the sides until they are nicely browned and cooked.
- Serve hot with mint chutney or yogurt dip.
