Cha Ruoi

Ingredients - Serves 4
- Cooking oil - 2 tablespoons
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Spring onions - 2 stalks, finely chopped
- Eggs - 4
- Sandworms - 200 grams
Let's Get Started
- Clean the sandworms thoroughly by rinsing them in cold water.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs and add the chopped spring onions, fish sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Heat the cooking oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Add the sandworms to the pan and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they are cooked through.
- Pour the egg mixture over the sandworms in the pan.
- Cook the omelette for about 5 minutes, or until the bottom is golden brown.
- Flip the omelette and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the other side is cooked.
- Transfer the omelette to a serving plate and cut into slices.
- Serve hot as an appetizer or with steamed rice as a main dish.
