Let's Get Started

  1. Heat the coconut oil in a pan and add the mustard seeds.
  2. When the mustard seeds start to splutter, add the curry leaves and green chillies.
  3. Add the chopped cabbage to the pan and stir well.
  4. Add the turmeric powder and salt, mix well and cover the pan. Cook on a low flame for about 10 minutes.
  5. Add the grated coconut to the pan and mix well. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. Serve the Cabbage Thoran hot with rice.
