Cabbage and Beef Stir Fry

  1. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over high heat.
  2. Add the beef slices and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the garlic and ginger. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the shredded cabbage and julienned carrots. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are slightly softened.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.
  6. Pour the sauce over the vegetables and stir to coat evenly.
  7. Return the cooked beef to the skillet and toss to combine with the vegetables and sauce.
  8. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
  9. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  10. Garnish with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
