Ingredients - Serves 6
- Water - 8 cups
- Chinese cooking wine - 1 cup
- Ginger - 1 piece
- Pork ribs - 1 pound
- Chicken - 1 whole
- Jinhua ham - 1 cup, sliced
- Dried scallops - 1 cup
- Dried sea cucumber - 6 pieces
- Dried shark fin - 6 pieces
- Dried abalone - 6 pieces
Let's Get Started
- Soak the abalone, shark fin, sea cucumber, and scallops in water for 24 hours, changing the water several times.
- In a large pot, add the soaked ingredients, Jinhua ham, chicken, pork ribs, ginger, and Chinese cooking wine.
- Add water and bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 8 hours.
- Strain the soup and discard the solids.
- Serve the soup hot.
