Black Bean Sauce Ribs

Ingredients - Serves 4
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Water - 1 cup
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Ginger - 1 inch, minced
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Black bean sauce - 4 tablespoons
- Pork ribs - 1 kg
Let's Get Started
- Cut the ribs into individual pieces.
- In a bowl, mix together the black bean sauce, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sugar.
- Add the ribs to the bowl and mix until they are coated in the sauce. Let them marinate for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the ribs on a baking tray and bake for 1 hour, or until they are tender and cooked through.
- While the ribs are cooking, mix together the cornstarch and water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until the sauce has thickened.
- Once the ribs are done, brush them with the thickened sauce and sprinkle with the chopped green onions before serving.
