Broccoli & Chicken Stir Fry
This quick and easy stir-fry is a perfect weeknight dinner, packed with flavor and loaded with chicken and broccoli.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Water - 1/4 cup
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Oyster sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1/4 cup
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Broccoli - 1 large head, cut into florets
- Chicken breasts - 2, cut into thin strips
Let's Get Started
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the broccoli and water. Cover and cook until the broccoli is tender, about 5 minutes.
- While the broccoli is cooking, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch in a small bowl.
- Add the garlic to the pan with the broccoli and cook for 1 minute.
- Return the chicken to the pan and pour the sauce over top. Stir well to coat everything in the sauce.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.
- Serve hot with rice or noodles.
