Ingredients - Serves 6

Let's Get Started

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic until the beef is browned and the onion is soft.
  2. Add the cilantro, cumin, cinnamon, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir well to combine.
  3. Remove the skillet from heat and let the mixture cool.
  4. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  5. Cut the phyllo dough into strips, about 3 inches wide.
  6. Take one strip of phyllo dough and brush it with melted butter.
  7. Place a spoonful of the meat mixture at one end of the strip.
  8. Fold the dough over the filling to form a triangle, then continue folding the triangle up the strip until you reach the end.
  9. Repeat with the remaining dough and filling.
  10. Place the briouats on a baking sheet and brush them with melted butter.
  11. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  12. Serve hot and enjoy!
