Bourbon Glazed Smoked Ham

Ingredients - Serves 8

Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat your smoker to 225°F.
  2. Place the ham in the smoker and cook for about 3 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 140°F.
  3. While the ham is smoking, make the bourbon glaze. Combine the bourbon, brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, garlic, and black pepper in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook until reduced by half, about 15 minutes.
  4. During the last 30 minutes of smoking, brush the ham with the bourbon glaze every 10 minutes.
  5. Remove the ham from the smoker and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
  6. Serve the ham with the remaining bourbon glaze on the side.
