Boston Creme Fudge
This delicious Boston Cream Fudge combines the flavors of a classic Boston cream pie with the creamy texture of fudge.
Ingredients - Serves 12
- Semi-sweet chocolate chips - 1 cup
- Milk - 2 cups
- Instant vanilla pudding mix - 1 box
- Yellow cake mix - 1 box
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Marshmallow creme - 1 cup
- Evaporated milk - 1/2 cup
- Granulated sugar - 1 cup
- Butter - 1/2 cup
Let's Get Started
- Line a 9x9-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the granulated sugar and evaporated milk to the saucepan, stirring constantly until the mixture comes to a boil.
- Continue boiling for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the marshmallow creme and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour half of the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
- In a separate bowl, prepare the yellow cake mix according to package instructions.
- Pour the cake batter over the fudge layer in the baking dish.
- In another saucepan, prepare the instant vanilla pudding mix with milk according to package instructions.
- Pour the pudding over the cake batter in the baking dish.
- Pour the remaining fudge mixture over the pudding layer and spread it evenly.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
- Drizzle the melted chocolate over the top of the fudge.
- Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours, or until set.
- Cut into squares and serve.
