Bok Choy and Pork Dumplings
These delicious dumplings are filled with a flavorful mixture of bok choy and ground pork.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Water - 1/4 cup
- Wonton wrappers - 24
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Green onions - 3, finely chopped
- Ground pork - 1/2 pound
- Bok choy - 4 cups, finely chopped
Let's Get Started
- In a large bowl, combine the bok choy, ground pork, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well.
- Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, then fold the wrapper in half to form a triangle. Press the edges to seal.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the dumplings and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the bottoms are golden brown.
- Add 1/4 cup of water to the skillet, cover, and cook for another 5 minutes, or until the dumplings are cooked through and the water has evaporated.
- Serve the dumplings hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
