Let's Get Started

  1. In a large bowl, mash the black beans with a fork until mostly smooth.
  2. Add the bread crumbs, garlic, onion, cilantro, egg, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add the patties and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until heated through and browned.
  6. Serve the burgers on the buns with lettuce, tomato, and your favorite burger toppings.
